Photographer and Cinematographer
I am enthusiastic when driven by love for visual storytelling. With a bachelor's degree in fine arts, focusing on Film and Television, I have gained valuable knowledge and practical experience in the industry. My journey has involved directing, filming, and even making cameo appearances in a variety of documentaries and short films, which has enriched my understanding of craft. Furthermore, I have developed my photography skills through volunteer engagements, where I focused on creating engaging social media content that resonates audiences.
Creative Writer
I have a deep passion for storytelling, which I express a diverse range of creative writing forms. With a solid foundation in fine arts, in crafting poetry and scriptwriting for various mediums, including advertisements, film, and television. My writing also extends to PA announcements and engaging broadcasts, allowing me to connect with audiences in unique ways. Throughout my journey, I had the privilege of contributing to events like the Brisbane Writers Festival 2025 where I honed my skills and connected with writers. My experience as a host at 99.7 Bridge FM has further enriched my understanding of effective communication and audience engagement. Additionally, I bring valuable insights from my retail experiences and placements, which have enhanced my ability to create relatable content. I am also well-versed in editing and copyediting, ensuring that all my work meets publishing standards and resonates with clients demands.
Technical Writing
With a solid foundation in technical, I have gained valuable experience in creating trades standards. These are but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) a variety of both professional and creative projects, particularly within realm of film and current technician lab-based roles.
Throughout my career, I have developed a keen understanding of the importance of guidelines and standards in technical positions, which has significantly contributed to my effectiveness in these roles. I have also played an active role in assisting with risk assessments and the technical writing of manuals during my time in copyediting classes. Furthermore, my Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing has enriched my ability to produce thoughtful engaging reviews and responses to works of art, allowing me to blend my technical skills with my passion for creative expression.
